TOTAL COLLECTION OF THE LIBRARY
The library has 42222 vols. (including the books supplied to 18 departmental libraries) as on 31/03/2024. It follows open access system and provide WebOPAC facility. The library now subscribes 13 journals (among them one journal of Sage Publication procured in both print & electronic version) and 6 magazines. The number of bound journals is 186.The College is a member of the N-LIST service of INFLIBNET since 2015 to provide access to e-journals & e-books and member of DELNET since 2021 for procuring more e-books, e-journals, e-thesis/dissertations, databases, daily e-newspapers etc. The College is also registered as a member of niepvd (National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities) for DIVYAGJAN users on 12/02/2024. Institutional Digital Repository has been enriched with e-thesis of faculty members, college published e-books, CBCS & NEP syllabi and university question papers.
The library provides career-oriented magazines and study materials. It has special collections on Murshidabad District, Berhampore Girls’ College, Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Netaji Subhaschandra Bose, V. R. Ambedkar and Dalit studies, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Mahatma Gandhi etc. Some Rare Books and Brielle Books are in showcases.
